How Does Corona Treatment Work?
Corona treating increases the surface tension of most materials by inducing molecular changes in the surface of the film. By applying concentrated energy (an electrical discharge) to the surface being treated, oxygen molecules break down and bond to molecules in the material being treated, increasing the surface energy.
